 VPN - Virtual Privite Network
« Thread Started on Jul 1, 2008, 8:04am »

I was just wondering if anyone has any experience using or setting up VPN's?

I am now needing to set one up myself, and i have picked my methods and equipment but before i go ahead im intrested to know if anyone has used them before or if anyone has any recommendations. Due to the nature of my work i need web access rather than installing software on client machines.

Atm i will be using a couple of programs called FreeSSHd & PuTTy, which will basically enable me to set up an account, configure port acces and set up the tunneling and then access my home machine through a web-browser using the assigned IP Address.

Seem's so far to be the simplest way of doing this, but if anyone has any suggestions let me know.

PS - i dont like paying if there is free software that will do the same ;)
